How to apply for a Special Import Certificate

This is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for a Special Import Certificate (SIC) for purchasing VMD authorised imported medicines.

Nupsala imports products that require a WDIC and before supply can occur to UK vets, a certificate must be received by us from the vet requesting the product. You will need to know your RCVS number before starting. Please note it is the veterinary surgeon’s responsibility to fill out this form and agree to all declarations on the final page.

You can upload your certificate as you place your order on our website, or email it to us at orders@nupsala.com. It is always advised to keep a copy of all SICs for any future practice inspections you may have.
